Add ability to migrate Library-level Asset Fields to folder-level

As a CMP library administrator I would like to be able to select existing Library-Level Asset Fields (formerly known as labels) and select to display them only within particular folders.

The ability to add Asset Fields to specific folders was added to the CMP recently but we are unable to take advantage of it because we already have all the Asset Fields we would want available at the library-level. There is no way we have found to narrow the scope of these fields without clearing all the values of the existing field. This means that when uploading photos to specific folders we see many fields unrelated to that folder.

I would imagine this as an option on the Fields settings page similar to the "Show in Filter" option that currently exists with "Show in Folder" allowing for whitelisting fields to specific folders.
