Reporting when making updates/changes to system

If we need to make updates to campaign structure or fields/labels, reporting becomes extremely difficult and threatens our data integrity for anything in the system. For instance, if we integrate two work request forms, we have to inactive one and we lose the ability to pull a streamlined report that includes any of the updates that we've made. Filtering then happens within the Request module and on the columns section within the window. We'll need to map out which templates we've made inactive when pulling reports so we don't miss anything in our reporting historically.

Additionally, if we remove a label from a label group, then it removes that label from all tasks. So if we need to update our taxonomy it will greatly impact all of our historical data as there is no way to inactive a label within a group.

Everything has a workaround, but we now have so many workarounds it's difficult to keep track and immensely impacts our data integrity as we have to manually track updates we're making so we don't miss anything in reporting. It also creates duplicative work for our teams and lengthens the amount of time in which we're working on something.
